BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. YOUR BOOKING –By paying a deposit you are agreeing to the Terms and Conditions for your stay at Verrocchio Art Centre
2. DEPOSIT PAYMENT – At the time of asking for your booking to be confirmed a deposit of approximately 30% of the full cost will be requested.
3. PAYMENT OF BALANCE – The balance is due 8 weeks prior to the start of your stay.
4. CANCELLATION POLICY: If you cancel after 15 days of booking, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER (including, but not limited to, health conditions, family emergencies, medical emergencies, personal reasons) the following cancellation terms WILL BE APPLIED:
Trip Cancellation Terms
▶︎ Cancel within 15 days of booking and your trip deposit is fully refundable
▶︎ Cancel AFTER 15 days of booking and your trip deposit is NON REFUNDABLE
▶︎ Your Trip Balance Payment is due 8 weeks prior to the trip start date. Should your trip balance payment not be received, after a maximum of 3 attempts, we will consider your space on the trip as forfeited, and your deposit as non refundable.
▶︎ Should you cancel your trip AFTER having paid your Trip Balance, the following cancellation terms will apply:
56 – 31 Days – Refund of any trip payments collected MINUS a cancellation fee of 70% of the total cost of your booking.
30 – 0 Days – No Refund We strongly recommend that clients take out appropriate travel insurance in order to be covered in the event of cancellation.
5. IF WE CANCEL YOUR STAY FOR ANY REASON APART FROM FORCE MAJEUR – Although it is unlikely we reserve the right in any circumstances to cancel your stay. In this event we will advise you as soon as possible and we will do our best to offer you an alternative date and if not accepted a total refund of your deposit (and balance if applicable) will be made.
6. PRICE CHANGES - We reserve the right to increase the price of your holiday after you have booked but no later than 30 days before the departure date stipulated and will forward an Amendment Invoice reflecting any changes made. Any increase to your holiday price will be as the result of changes in our costs of supplying your holiday resulting from currency fluctuations and government action. If the increase is more than 10% of the rental price then you may cancel your rental booking within 14 days of the Amendment Invoice date and receive a refund of all monies paid to us.
7. FORCE MAJEUR – Deposit and balance payment refunds do not apply when your stay is cancelled as a result of risk of war or threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions and similar events beyond our control. In the case of issues arising from a recurrence of the pandemic, please ensure that your travel insurance provider will cover you in these eventualities.
8. MISADVENTURE – We accept no responsibility for any loss or damage you may suffer during the period of your course due to accident, illness of bodily injury or loss of equipment of belongings or from any other cause unless resulting from our negligence or that of our employees. We would stress the absolute necessity for you and the other members of your party to effect appropriate insurance cover and we would advise you obtain a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) which entitles you to certain free medical care in the European Economic Area if you are an EU citizen. 9. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT TIMES - Check in not earlier than 4 pm on arrival day and check out not later than 10 am on departure day unless otherwise agreed.
10. The Centre reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decline to accept any application for a course or to remove anyone who, in our judgement, disrupts others staying at the Centre.
11. BANK CHARGES Please ensure you cover any charges made by your bank for sending payments so that we receive the full amount invoiced.
