My trip to Casole was all I had hoped for and more! I can not tell you what it meant to me to find, that despite some architectural changes to the building, the warmth and ambience of the centre had not changed at all and Nigel was as enthusiastic and inspiring as I remembered him 23 years ago. It was truly a magical and emotional week in which I was inspired to paint once again and to spend time contemplating the brilliant landscape and all it had to offer. The food and company added to the experience and I can honestly say that I enjoyed every second and like many others before me I did not want to leave!!
I wanted to let you know what a brilliant time I had there and to thank you for your care and support with my questions and queries.
I have already decided to go back next year....for two weeks this time as a week was not enough......can you tell me the earliest I can book? Can I reserve a place?
Verrocchio is a wonderful experience: the highest quality tuition, whatever your level; superb food; friendly co-students, all set in a vibrant small hill-top town. What more could anyone ask for?

Falling into Serendipity happens only seldom in life. Thank you. It has been an experience I will never forget.

This is the most wonderful place in the world. I've been back 25 times! I always take Nigel's sculpture course.

If ever I could have wished for a course to kick start me back into sculpture this was it. Thank you Nigel for your immense good humour, patience and encouragement.

We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it! I never experienced anything quite like this. It was unbelievably stimulating and lovely.

The small town of Casole d'Elsa and its surroundings were to me, more beautiful than ever The village is picturesque and unspoilt with its stone buildings..with very friendly people.. All quite used to the annual influx of painters and sculptors in their streets and squares to whom they are kind and welcoming without being over curious or intrusive.
Thank goodness there are hardly any tourist type gift shops, yet everything we need, several bars and cafes, post office and small food shops only minutes away from the Centro Verrocchio studios. But the food and wine we have at the Centro and eat on the beautiful terrace is the BEST.
